5k Training

Our 5k Training Group is designed for beginner runners looking to complete their first 5k or get back into running. This group is also great for intermediate runners looking to work on their speed/pace. Following our training plan will prepare you for race day and will help you reach whatever goals you've set for yourself. 

Why train with Fleet Feet Sports?

  • Coached group runs twice a week

  • Weekly emails from coaches with tips, advice, motivation and encouragement

  • Dedicated support from multiple coaches to answer individual questions

  • Periodic clinics focused on technique, nutrition & hydration, injury prevention, apparel and other topics to be determined

Scheduled Group Runs

  • Saturdays at 9 a.m. Long run
  • Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Speed/endurance workouts

Interested in the program but unsure if it's the right fit for your goals? Join us Wednesday, May 3 at 6 p.m. for our Spring Training Open House! We'll introduce the coaches, discuss goals and go for an easy fun run! This will also be a great opportunity for new and returning training members to meet and mingle!

Program Fee: $70 excluding race fee
